Center Channel Speakers...
I am looking for an affordable upgrade to the center channel that I have now and have kept coming back to the JBL Northridge Series EC35. It is a 3 way center channel rated at 91 db. I can get it for 139.99 and at that price, it seems like my best option. I know this is a polk forum but was wondering if anyone has experience with these speakers. I looked at the CS1 from Polk and just feel that it's more "bang for my buck" going with the JBL. Also, I know it's not good to mix brands, any thoughts on how the JBL would sound with the polk rm6005 sats and infinity bu-2 sub? I am running it with a yamaha rx-v995. Thaks for any thoughts.

Shawn, I oned some JBL E series bookshelevs, they didn't even come close to sounding as good as the lower R series polks. Best thing I did was to sell them. SO I say go for polk centre.
