I am not sold on Young as a QB, but I have a sneaking suspicion that Texas, may just have the "D" to do the trick.

Well being that I was born and raised in SoCal one would think I'm a Trojan fan..but the fact is I am a UCLA fan and I can't stand the University of Spoiled Children! However, I have to admit that USC is just scary good and therefore I am picking them to beat Texas by 7!!

Im pulling for Texas as that is my adopted home state and I wish California would break off and fall into the ocean, but Im afraid USC is going to pull it off.

As for the menu, a Subway cheesesteak (for freaking $7! They must thing these things are made of gold now :mad: ) and a couple St Paulis.

I agree. I've lived in Texas and my mother is from there originally, and Earl Campbell is my favorite player of all-time.....so I'm definitely rooting for the Horns. BUT....I'm afarid when it's all said and done, that Shizelbs will probably be right. Not real "optimistic" about their chances, since USC is the collegiate version of the New England Patriots these days.......

Bit sloppy, but a lot of hitting. I think Texas is faster than USC expected, but USC has posted comebacks all season, so we shall see. I fully expect the 2nd half to be higher scoring.

True, but will he be a great pro? Few running QB's make the transition, e.g., Michael Vick.

1st half I thought both Lineart's and Bush's stock dropped, but after the 2nd half, I think either could be a #1 overall.

I loved the game UNBELIEVABLE.

I know vince young was great but I couldn't believe how well Thomas played At TE...

Great game, but I have to **** now.

I have Directv, and they do not as of yet carry my medium size market locals in HD (will this year), and I live too far from tower to get it over the air. After watching the game on my crappy local ABC 480i feed, I switched over to ESPNHD, and WOW!

I wish I could have watched the whole game with that HD feed, now I have to still get through the crappy ABC Super Bowl.

Think about it, if Vince did go pro, he could still play in Texas, in Houston. This might sway his decision............

I think Vince's stock went up quite a bit after tonight, but I have to take the side that he will not translate very well into a pro QB. The NFL is so fast and resiliant that he just can't bring the same sort of game into the NFL and be nearly as successful.

The other leason I re-learned tonight is that Bush is very, very fast. You can't teach that kind of speed.

I think you're right, except that I think Young will be a pretty decent NFL QB (for a scrambling QB). Maybe not "great", or even an elite upper tier "McNabb" type QB, but definitely not an "Aaron Brooks" QB either....probably in between. Perhaps more of a Randall Cunningham type

As for Bush, you're right....he has the type speed and moves that will make him a Priest Holmes/LaDainian Tomlinson type back and shhould have a very productive career (injuries withstanding).

Ultimately, ya gotta hope both these guys wind up with the right orgainzations, with the right talent surrounding them and the right coaching staffs to maximize their potential to see how well they truly shine at the next level......

That crap never enters the house, it's either Stella, Heiny or Corona.

Im not sure if it's just me but when I watch a game which is live from Canada, I find the picture is much better than the games played in the US. I find the US ones don't look as clear and vibrant as the ones taped in Canada.

A guy I work with lives like 50 miles from Boston - again, too far to really get OTA HD broadcasts - but DirectTV does not give him local stations in HD either. What a joke. Lack of local HD stations is the biggest reason I won't switch to DirectTV.
