That's some light packaging! Perhaps they made extensive use of helium.George Grand wrote: »

Didn't Audiobahn make a 34" car subwoofer a while back? I remember seeing it on their website and seeing a Honda CRX with one in the back.

Well, the name is scary and intimidating at the same time...unfortunately, I doubt they sound better than a pair of Sennheisers. If you can stand wearing a pair of Grados for more than 30 minutes, you should be on Fear Factor. They sound GREAT, but when it comes to comfort they SUCK.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Kidding aside on the specs, I've heard that those are pretty good phones.
I have the Sony Fontopia earbuds that I travel with (constant airline flights) and have been pleasantly surprised at just how good these little things sound.comment comment comment comment. bitchy. -
actually I was looking at those fontopia..
and seriously...though I was kidding about the phones and the whole 36'' woofer and the obviously ridiculous "DEMENSIONS" which some how is converted to weight...
My brother just got some shure e2c's I think so I'm doing some headphone shopping while he test those out because he plans on returning them if i can find better for the same price...but I would not recommend these
Still think it's funny though

The oe complaint I've heard about the Shure's is the lack of bass. Before I'd ever go and spend $200+ on earbuds, I'd test out a cheaper set to see if you even like the feeling of them in your ear. As it turned out, I like these Fontopia's and don't want to get a different set.comment comment comment comment. bitchy.

I personally can't stand earbuds. In fact I'm so "old school" that I still prefer the pro-style full ear cover sealed cans. Big, bulky, ugly (I guess)...but I can put them on...crank em up and not worry about the person next to me or the outside noise."Just because youre offended doesnt mean youre right." - Ricky Gervais

It sounds to me that these are marketed to those who enjoy that car audio stereotype (the one everyone hates - lets turn up the subs so we can bearly hear the music, but we're cool cause we bump that sh*&).

STAX still handles high end heads to the best of my knowledge, and they ain't "pretty" or outside user friendly....count me in. Exactly my stance. I don't like anything in my ear.George Grand wrote: »

I would highly recommend the Fontopia's..... If I have the music paused or muted, I sometimes forget that they're even in my ear. They are sometimes nice to wear just like that because of the noise that they block out by using the rubber buds. I did'nt quite get how the "isolation" worked, but those buds definitely do it.comment comment comment comment. bitchy.
