Hi All,

I am in the process of adding a pair of main speakers to my Polk vintage RM 7300v speaker system to create a 7.1 system. I am useing the Yamaha RX V2600 receiver.

Question,

What polk speakers would be the best match for this system?

Thank you,

John

Thank you for responding, I am actualy looking into purchasing Axiom system I don't know if I should add new mains or just upgrade to a new system?

The vintage rm7300 still sound good just wanted to add a set of fronts for a 7.1 system.

not sure what to do, I think I will switch to the Axiom system.

Your system is no longer in production but Polk Customer Service (polkcs@polkaudio.com) should be able to point you toward a good match with your existing speakers.

I would look for a used pair of RT 25s or 35s for a similar sound. I used 25s with my 7300 when I went through that stage of upgrading. Nothing new in Polks line will be a better match.
