RTi or LSi
Right now, I have the RTi 70s. While they have served my needs well, I am thinking about upgrading to one of these models. RTi 10, RTi 12, or LSi 15. I almost think the RTi 12s are to large for my allowable space. That and with the price difference not all that much why not go with the LSi 15s. I am running a 225 watt separate amp so driving the LSi's should not be a problem from what I am being told. The one minus might be that I am using a CSi 30 center channel which means no timber match for the fronts should I go with the LSi series. I'm also trying to limit the cost therefore I would rather not also commit to a new center channel. I know everybody has an opinion, I also know that the LSi would be the best sounding speaker and I would like to use these for perhaps the next 20 years, hopefully, they would stand the test of time. For anyone who has used any of these models, any thoughts as to what might make the most sense with respect to cost, sound and all that? Finally, even though I feel the RTi 12s are bigger than I really want for the room that I have, I would still consider them if they may seem to be the better way to go. Thanks to all on this..

My opinion is to get the LSi15's, then upgrade the center later.
Here is a thread that may help your decision out a little bit as well: http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34196&highlight=lsi+rtiTschüss

Yep. Get the Lsi15's and worry about upgrading the center channel later. You'll hear a substantial improvement over the 70's.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

if you already have the power to run them (something a lot of people spend more $$ when going LSI) then go lsi. Center later like okie said

Thanks all, like you, I too think that the LSi series would be the best way to go.
Hopefully later, an LSi center could be picked up. -
if you're going to upgrade then UPgrade.
Lsi15, and keep the csi30 until you've heard all 3 of them together. -
Lsi's all the way . I find them to be great for movies and music. I have an LSI9 as a center though as I did not really like the LSIC center channel.Sharp Elite 70

What didn't you like about the LSiC center? How is the LSi9 different ( besides cosmetically )?Pio Elite 60 in 1080p PRO-150FD KURO

I found that I had difficulty getting clear dialog from the LSIC and had to run it REALLY hot in relation to my other speakers to hear the movie. I believe that it is the nature of the crossover that is the culprit ( hopefully someone smarter here can explain that). I am not alone though. Here is a thread on the subject and if you do a search you will find others.
By the way...are you still digging that Cinenova?Sharp Elite 70
