RM6800 subwoofer shielding?

Just purchased the RM 6800 package. If I remember correctly, the subwoofer is not shielded. Does anybody know approximately how far I'll need to keep it from my TV? I have a 60" Sony LCD rear-projection set (KDF-60XS955).
Thanks!

Two feet should bee more than adequate. I believe i read somewhere that three is the rule but I have done some fooling around with this and it seems that at about 8 inches it quits distorting the screen so triple that to be safe so that no long term positioning of say 1 foot produces a slow effect over 6 months to a year that is irreversible.

Because it is like radiation, at 0 inches it is full power receiving from the magnet. at two inches it is half power, at four inches it is a quarter and at 8 it is like a 1/16 or something like that I am too tired to help. LOL
