that seems promising, so long as my employers do not stumble across this footswith unit. i'd have to unplug it everynight and take it home as the janitors may accidentally see it when they clean.

Don't believe your employer can't see what you're doing at work.

I can't believe how much big bother crap is on my desk top. With a monthly rescan, but will say it's tight when a worm is out their not 1 computer is affected. That maybe a good thing saying how many networks / communications could be affected.

Hmmm...'big bother crap'...pro'lly supposed to be big brother crap, but 'big bother' seems fitting, as well...

It is a neat idea, but there's plenty of free software tools that do the same thing with a simple keystroke, seems much more practical.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

It's interesting but I think I'll stick with my windows key + D. Even with that the admins could, if they wanted to, see what you're running and everything installed on your computer (including any software this cloak thing requires).

Nice website though... looks like they offer things at nice prices.

yeah I haven't bought anything there before but I've heard about it. I'm just picking up those two items that i listed in my original post and I think they are great deals the laptop case is on sale from case logic direct for 60 bucks so i'm happy with this. I also looked aroudn a bit at some targus but...prices don't justify my usage. I'm gonna lug my laptop around occasionaly...

I too have been looking for a laptop case or bag with a dedicated spot for mine but they seem to be more than I'm willing to pay. I took an old foam formed binder and ripped the rings out of it. It conforms to my laptop almost perfectly and also disguises it with my other books in my knapsack ;)

heh neat idea. not sure if it has enough pockets for your other stuff though!

what about the one i'm gonna get? is that price low enough? for around 20 shipped get a lot out of it. And it's made by a brand that i know won't tear apart in 2 weeks

It's nice but I think I'd rather go for a knapsack style case. I do about an hour or two of walking a day so carrying one of those would be brutal. Great price though. I don't think I've ever seen them that cheap. (*a decent case*)
