I would like to hook up two DB104s in series to a Kicker KX250.2 amp. I was going to hook it up in a bridge mode to the amp. I was wondering if it would be a 2,4 or an 8ohm connection and whether the amp would handle it. Sort of like in the attached file.

That would be an 8 ohm load assuming those are single 4 ohm VC subs. That would be about 65 watts per channel.

Youd be better off running a single sub bridged 4 ohms mono to that amp.

That's the worse thing you could do is to wire those sub's in series. You will get the least amount of power out of that amp running a 8 ohm load.

Rule of thumb you always want to run 2 subs in parallel to get the most power possible out of a amp.

Now here comes the tricky part. If your going to bridge those subs to your amp you will need a four ohm load a two ohm load will burn a amp up in bridged mode.

So you will need 2 svc 8 ohm subs to give you the 4 ohm load wired in parallel.

i would get a single 4 ohm sub, that amp doesnt generate enough power for 2 db's

Yes you can run those db subs in stereo. But you will get more power out of that amp if you bridge them. Remember more power is always better.

i'm not looking to be able to hear my system in the next town, i'm looking for quality of sound over how loud it will be. would it at least sound good if i do it like that?

If youre wanting the best possible SQ then you should run a single sub off the amp bridged in mono. This would deliver the right amount of power to it to make it perform at its best which means sounding its best. More power doesnt just mean louder.
