What's the next upgrade on your agenda? We love to taunt our fellow Polkies into mental confusion, financial ruin and marital chaos.
I couldnt have sumed it up any better. Actually My plan is striaght forward. Going to get some rti6's for the fronts move my 4's to the rear and be DONE with it! I'm very pleased with my setup now!! When I started looking to upgrade my HT many many months ago piece by piece this is what i imagined it would end up and sound like all thanks to everyone here! -

Jerry post your opinion of the 6's and how much they fill the room better than the 4's. Assuming the speakers will be set to small with an 80hz crossover, i'm curious. -

I'll do that. BTW the HK has the automatic room calibration with the mic. It sets the crossovers and everything. Should i leave it how it sets it? To me it sounds good but should i see if it crosses over at 80hz and change it? What should all the speakers be set at? -
Everything should be set to small with the crossovers at 80hz. Of course, you can probably set it to 60, but that would put more strain on the receiver. Most would agree that it's best to let the sub take care of everything below 80hz. At least when it comes to bookshelf speakers.

Consider floorstanders -- Rti8's or 10's for the front instead of the 6's. It'll make for a much better HT experience for a little bit more money.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

Yes, Jer_ry, that will make me very happy.
To answer your other question, set the crossover in your receiver to 80 Hz and turn the crossover to max on the sub.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

my pb10 does not have a crossover on it should i still keep the crossover on the reciever set to 80 Hz for the sub? same with everything else?
