Today I finished the most intensive four days of programming I've ever done, and it's been about 34 hours since I've slept. I had to design an e-Commerce web site for one of my classes worth 25% of my final grade. While most of the class just used FrontPage to design their sites (which really weren't truly functional), I programmed mine in ASP (and it's essentially fully functional). This was my first foray into ASP. I learned a ton and definitely had a lot of fun. After looking at what the other groups did it's not even fair to compare it to mine. Anyway, I just had to brag a bit since I'm feeling proud of myself. Look out Justin, I'm coming after your job, buddy! :D

Linux/Unix just doesn't do it for me. I've never used PHP, but Perl is pretty pimpin'. Never used mySQL either. I used SQL Server for this project, and it's definitely killer.

I use mysql/php on our website (if you haven't noticed). It's funny, cause our IT department is all about microsoft. They must hate the fact that our web server is unix based running on a free apache web server.

    Oh well, php ROCKS!

Yeah Justin, I noticed. Linux stuff just doesn't have the sex appeal that MS products do nor does it come with the heavy price tag. Ah, well.
