Other than price the only other difference I noticed was 4 ohms vs 8 ohms. Can anyone explain the other significant difference?
How do you think the TC265is will match up with a pair of LSi25s and a LSiC? The 265is would be used for sides and rear speakers.

The LC265i is made to match the LSi series. That is the one you should get. Just make sure you have enough amplifier power to drive all the speakers.Marantz AV-7705 PrePro, Classé 5 channel 200wpc Amp, Oppo 103 BluRay, Rotel RCD-1072 CDP, Sony XBR-49X800E TV, Polk S60 Main Speakers, Polk ES30 Center Channel, Polk S15 Surround Speakers SVS SB12-NSD x2

Do you really think I will see any real difference in perfromance between to two speakers - Is it worth the extra $800 for the four speakers.
Maybe I should take a step back and get the RTi12s?TV = WS65611

The LSI series are Polks top of the line speaker & worth every penny! It is distinctly different from the RTi series, much more musical.
So you should be willing to spend not only on the speakers, but also the separate power amp/s needed to power them to thier full potential.
Do a search here on the board about the LSI's & you will learn what you need to know!
BTW Welcome to Club Polk!!!kmartin971 wrote:Do you really think I will see any real difference in perfromance between to two speakers - Is it worth the extra $800 for the four speakers.

Welcome to the forum.
I preferred the sound of the LCi's over the TCi's. I spent a day driving to different stores to demo in-walls before I bought them. The best way is to hear them.Salk SoundScape 8's * Audio Research Reference 3 * Bottlehead Eros Phono * Park's Audio Budgie SUT * Krell KSA-250 * Harmonic Technology Pro 9+ * Signature Series Sonore Music Server w/Deux PS * Roon * Gustard R26 DAC / Singxer SU-6 DDC * Heavy Plinth Lenco L75 Idler Drive * AA MG-1 Linear Air Bearing Arm * AT33PTG/II & Denon 103R * Richard Gray 600S * NHT B-12d subs * GIK Acoustic Treatments * Sennheiser HD650 *
