So what are the plans for New Year's Eve? My wife and I spend a quite evening at home, eat a little seafood (lobster), reminisce the current year, and make some new plans. Proac speakers will be on the agenda for this year and that may be a long conversation. All the best to everyone in 2006.

Friends and family are coming over from all around the state. Drinks will be drank. Games will be played. The 360 will get a workout for sure. I will make smart assed and embarrasing remarks throughout the night. I will sleep in the tub.

    Good times.

Goin over to my brothers's - probably be a low-key evening. Which I can deal with. My last few new Years have been at ridiculous bars where I spent 300 bucks on the night and dont' remember getting home. Never a good thing.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

We always gather at a friends house, along with other friends, and have a good time. The rule is if you drink, you stay the night. We play silly drinking games/poker/cards etc., sometimes even truth or dare. Rumor has it there will be a Kareoke machine this year  . Eat lots of food and if it's your preference (mine) down a few spirits as well. Same group of 10 or so people have been doing this for the last 6-8 years.

My wife won 200$ worth of steak and shrimp We won't be eating that much. It came out to be 6 steaks and a couple lbs of xtra large shrimp. We will have wine, dinner, music and for desert a bottle of Lanson Black label Champagne.
Very low key , we are past the stage of tons of drinking.

I'll still hoop it up on nights like New Years but only amongst close friends and never more then a crawl away from the house. I never go out on New Years if it requires more then my two feet for transportation, too dangerous, plus I like the family close by.

LOL, I should be too. I certainly don't party like I used to, but a couple times a month I usually let loose and really.....er...um...have a good time. I will say it's getting harder & harder each time as recovery is **** .

I am staying home this year, but the bar will be open, and so will the kitchen. We are expecting two couples, and neither one of Pam's lady friends drink. Me and the fellas will take up their slack though. I wish everyone a safe and prosperous new year, and if you leave out don't drive and drink. The fuzz will be rolling at FULLFORCE on NYE, and will make hundreds of arrests. What a hell of a way to spend the New Year, behind bars. Be safe all, and don't forget to make those resolutions.
Ron, you seem to have the best idea' and if you do get wasted you can always stagger home; that is if you are not too drunk to remember where you live at! :D

I didn't know they had SQ comps any more ;)

Quiet time. I've got about a half dozen bottles of champagne in the fridge downstairs. Didn't have a chance to get the fireworks this year, so I'm gonna see how many bottles I can do by myself.

I used to buy a bottle of Crown Royal Special Reserve and try to kill it, but one time it almost got me
