Whats the penalty for murder in Tennessee?

Ive just sat here and listened to an entire Belinda Carlisle CD and really need to vent!

We've got some wonderful new neighbors that have recently moved in down below us and they like to listen to their music REALLY LOUD!

Now my general philosophy is that swift and blinding violence is a wonderful thing and cuts through any "confusion" but our apartment staff frowns on this type of behavior and warns us agaisnt confronting neighbors and letting the staff handle it instead.

My wife called and complained on them a couple weeks ago but it doesnt appear to have bothered them.

Ive been stomping on the floor hoping theyll either get the hint or get pissed and come up here to see me so I can enlighten them as to my personal philosophy but to no avail. I would blare my **** back at them but I have other neighbors that have always been cool and dont want to trouble them.

The only good thing I can say is that they only seem to blast it is between 7-9 so that is a little more tolerable. They started tonight about 7:30 and just now quit (8:30).

God, I need a beer.

Maybe one or the other is a screamer and they crank the tunes to mask it?

To answer your question more directly, this is the punishment in Tennessee:

    lethal.jpg

But, there's a chance your ACLU appointed lawyer could get you a reduced sentence with the argument that living in Tennessee is punishment enough. :D

next time they're playing their 80's music go knock on their door and bring them up to your apt. so they can hear they're non-sense 1st hand.

Then tell them next time it happens you're getting the police involved.

my ex lived in apts where there was 'bad element' surrounding her. i have since gotten her into a very nice and safe apt. but when she lived there with my little boys, the peeps upstairs used to blast the music big time. they were punk gangsters and some were rather large. anyway, they played that music till late at night when my kids were supposed to be in bed. numerous calls to the office only pissed these fellas off. cops gettin' called for noise pollution failed as well. i had to go solo up to their apt one day when my ex knocked on the wall to shut them up. like 15 people started STOMPING on the floor and scared the **** outta my boys, my ex as well as myself. i had no choice. i gathered myself and my anger and stormed up there and told them my kids are trying to sleep and that these fuccs don't need to be stomping as they are in the wrong. fifteen people were glaring at me and the dude who lived there came out to talk to me. i told him straight up that i don't give a **** how many people they had there and that i don't care what happens to me, but if they don't quit disrespecting my family that i would do whatever i had to do to force them to comply. i was nervous, but still mad. bizill vs. fifteen gangster of various sizes...not fun. but these biatches respected the fact that i was a defending father and not scared to confront these punks and for some reason, it all stopped!? they eventually got kicked out like friggin' four months later. i was so glad to get my kids into a very safe environment! i would take a serious beating for them any day!

sorry so long a story. but mac, i'm sure if you confront them face to face and they see your large frame, they will very rapidly begin to understand reality. if not, do like russman said. get a house. apt living will ALWAYS suck!

drill a small hole through the wall/floor, titrate some NO2 , then it's nighty, night time, just hope that they they don't have "replay" activated, :) on second thought ,I would introduce myself, ask nicely, then if that does not work, the total crazy approach should work, these type of people seem to never stat put for very long, you could also check with the local authorities and obtain the noise ordinance, ours goes into effect @ 10:00 pm,or have a few people over after they stop their music for a " southern revival",, :D I feel a healin' comin' on!!! :D
