Couple of questions...

I'm looking now to replace my 6600 sats that I'm using for rears. My fronts are RTi28 & CSi30 cc. My LFM-1 will arrive tomorrow to audition. My current rears sound fairly good but do not have the full range sound that really match the RTi's. I'd like to go with some FXi3's, but my viewing room is open to another room on the right side. I need to have them up off the floor due to kids.. If I mounted them facing the ends of the couch from the ceiling I'd see the back of the speaker and 9' is quite high.. Behind the couch is 4 windows, but even figuring out how to place them (either over the windows or between), I still have a wall missing to reflect sound in bi-pole mode situation. I could go with RTi4's, but might be big to hang from the ceiling, but I may have to go in-ceilings with tiltable tweets.. Any set-up/mounting advice for some nice fx speakers. The existing sats are wired into the ceiling, plus a 6.1 option is already there too.

Next, SPL meter.. Digital or analog? I'm going to go get one with a Avia disk.

Thanks! -fab5valentine

Get either digital or analog. It doesn't really matter, both get the job done.
