    yeah mostly HT. In the past 48 hours i have switched from getting rti8's to getting a new reciever, to not knowing which reciever to get, to forgetting about the new reciever and getting an amp, NOW to not knowing what amp to get....

    Get an amp that is good and solid. Dont skimp on power. One day, you may end up getting a dedicated pre/pro - so make sure the company that makes your amp also carries a decent pre/pro for future upgrading purposes.

    Parasound 1500 or NAD 2700 or whatever the hell the new equivillant of the NAD is will do you up just fine I think it is the NAD 318, anyway look for 30-35 amps pk2pk current.

    When you get ready to play some music you will be off to a good start.
