Took my $50 Circuit City gift card and picked up the Star Wars Trilogy on DVD.

Man Circuit City aint got **** in the way of DVD's! I was planning on picking up the 5th season of Highlander but they didnt have it. Nor the 1st season of Miami Vice or any season of Forever Knight!

Best Buy has boatloads of copies of all these. I can see now Im going to have to issue a memo to my family that after all these years, they need to switch to BB gift cards.

I didn't get anything this year for Christmas. Instead, I had everyone that was going to give me gifts donate money to the Salvation Army. I think the grand total was around $400, which ain't too shabby.

My wife felt bad that I didn't get anything to open so she wrapped a salt and pepper shaker she just bought for the kitchen so I would have something to unwrap!

That's a huge contribution from you Mazeroth.

I donate enough to Goodwill and Salvation Army throughout the year to not worry about that which I receive.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Bought myself a Harmony 880. It looks cool, but the buttons aren't as easy to use as the 659. Recharging station on the 880 is a plus. All of the settings I had on the 659 transferred over to the 880 via the web.

Also raked in a bunch of $$$ for car parts.

I got very very lucky this year. No camera right now to take actual pictures though.

Got a nice shiny 5150 Nomad snowboard (black bottom, gray lettering)
    p2182609reg.jpg

Bought myself some 2006 Burton Custom's
    b_custom_bnding_blk_06.jpg

Scored on some nice Dakine wrist guards and a toolkit with wax, gummy stone and tool (mine is all black except for a clear green tool)
    1389dakine_wristguard_small.jpg

The very generous guys at my workplace gave me a compaq m700 :D
    NOTE%20COMPAQ%20M700_1.jpg

All this great snowboard gear and the mountain I ride only has 50 somethin centimeters (foot and a half) of snow... considering it hasn't snowed or been below zero for any length of time in the last three weeks it sucks up there. I guess it's for the better though, since I messed up my knee last time I went up. It's a bit swollen (still after about 2-3 weeks) so I'm going to the clinic tomorrow. Hope it isn't too serious.... :(

We got married December 2nd. It was VERY small. We had my immediate family (mom/dad/2 bros), her immediate (mom/dad/2 bros), her grandmother, and one set of our closest friends. We've been together over eight years and engaged for over two years so we were basically like, "Let's just do it!". We almost eloped but felt our family might get a little mad at us. Anywho, we all went to the #1 steakhouse in Ohio, Hyde Park, for the reception in a private room. For 17 people the total, with alcohol, came out to over $1100! Boy, that was the best filet I've ever had :D

What brand are those router bits?

I got the 20pc set from Costco. Inexpensive, but the ones I've used have worked great. I had only two Freud bits before that. Those two cost almost as much as the 20pc set.

What is that attachment on your helmet? A camera? Is that Snell approved?

Craftsman bits. Yep, its a camera that runs on two AAA batteries and stores video on a memory card. It connects to the computer via USB for downloading.

Oh, I forgot my coolest present this year. I'll post a pic later.

My mom's boyfriend went on a fishing trip to Africa this year. He brought me back a bottle opener with a warthog's tusk as the handle. Its one effing manly bottle opener if you ask me.
