I'm been listening to XM holly 103 / or 23 they are playing Christmas music 24/7 playing at time a song by Emerson Lake and Palmer / I Believe in father Christmas. I like to buy that CD but not sure which one or even if I have the right artist as I've seen reference to Greg Lake song from 1975?

You have the right song and Greg Lake was the composer. It is on "The Atlantic Years", an Emerson Lake and Palmer compilation CD that is an excellent CD in it's own right. I would highly recommend it. I believe Tour has this CD also.

Thanks Shack,
Q's I heard that the 1975 version with Greg Lake was the best, but he's from ELP also right?
Update I've answered my own question above thanks.
That album looks good thanks Shack.

Greg issued the song as a single in 75. The version on "The Atlantic Years" is the single version. The EP Blue mentioned appears to have both versions."Just because youre offended doesnt mean youre right." - Ricky Gervais

Even though you've already figured it out www.allmusic.com is a good site for finding out who sings what song. If you sign up, you can also hear low quality 30 second clips to make sure its the right song. Hope this helps you in the future!
