You have the right song and Greg Lake was the composer. It is on "The Atlantic Years", an Emerson Lake and Palmer compilation CD that is an excellent CD in it's own right. I would highly recommend it. I believe Tour has this CD also.

    Thanks Shack,

Q's I heard that the 1975 version with Greg Lake was the best, but he's from ELP also right?

Greg issued the song as a single in 75. The version on "The Atlantic Years" is the single version. The EP Blue mentioned appears to have both versions.

Even though you've already figured it out www.allmusic.com is a good site for finding out who sings what song. If you sign up, you can also hear low quality 30 second clips to make sure its the right song. Hope this helps you in the future!
