Im looking at getting an SVS sub for my setup. First let me say it takes a LOT for me to have faith enough to purchase something without testing it out first but I usually have found nothing but raves and praise for these subs. I just wish there was SOMEWHERE that offered sound demos, but oh well... anyways...

I have a fairly large room, a little over 4000ft3, 20x20 w high ceilings. I am ona budget, esp after replacing my olf R series with the RTi. So I was debating getting a PB-10isd with the option to get another later if needed, or should I save a bit and go for a pb12 or dare i say a pb12-isd2?

Right now I have an old cerwin vega 10" that actually hasnt been that bad and does ok for now. For me a nice smooth response down to 20Hz and musicality is more important than sheer SPL, quality over quantity :) So anyone have experience with these subs in largish rooms? Any suggestions?

Be patient. Save your money and buy the biggest, baddest sub possible. With the room size you've got, you're gonna need it.

Save and get the big **** one. Getting a smaller one will just make you want to upgrade again. Buy what you'd really want now. No sense in buying something if you'd rather have something else.
