There have been reported "lion" sightings in central Ohio for about a year now. Pretty weird whatever it is...

Saw a deer the other day... very odd around here. Sad thing was that it managed to get on the highway and not leave it :(

I'd really creep me out to see a mountain lion perusing the streets. C'mon steve get the camera ready for the next one!!

Coyote, Javelina are regulars around here, about like seeing rabbits in the midwest. On Ft. Huachuca there's a herd of prong-horn (about 30 or so) I see almost every morning coming in to work.

    Wow fascinating! Thanks!

I know none of you have a picture of a mountain lion. You would be too busy running away!!!! :D

BTW are mountain lions & cougars the same critter & the names simply interchangeble?

not me! i'm strapped and have enough street knowledge to stay clear. with a wild cat or bear all confused and feeling cornered in someone's backyard, you never know what that animal is gonna do. plus your l'il puppy and kittens are safe in the backyard against gangster **** where as they aren't with the likes of a coyote. i say pit them gangsters against some bears and wildcats and let 'em brawl away. gangsters, leave your guns at home.

    LOL!

As high-tech as us humans are, nothing will bring you back down to the reality of the situation like a mountain lion on a residential street....
