I have 4 RC80i's right now for front and rear but now I want to add the other 2 rear or side as the diagram shows. I don't think I need RC80's for that do I? They have to be in ceiling speakers

Are you sure they need to be in ceiling? The 7.1 specs from both PLII-EX and Logic 7 both call for speakers in the sides, not the ceiling... If you are limited to a ceiling mount because of doorways/windows/etc., I would suggest that it may be better looking at di-pole speakers that normally mount on the side-walls and either build a small vertical drop-wall/mount-point or even look at placing them on the ceiling facing down...
The biggest problem you will have with the ceiling mounted speakers will be with panning effects that basically will cause the sound to go from in front of you (center/L/R) to over your head and finally to behind you (L/R), which can and will play havoc when you see the car/plane/explosion simply go past and off the screen to the left/right and "hear" it go over your head instead of off to the side. -
I'm locked in to the ceiling. Hopfully it sounds good. I'm sure that the side sounds better. Actually what I was looking for was what speakers woud be suffient for the 2 side speakers. I have RC80's for front and rear but I think they would be over kill for the side
