For sale is a wonderful and VERY RARE pair of Infinity Kappa 200s in a gorgeous real cherry veneer. These are not your typical Infinitys as they were designed and built in Denmark. This gives them a European sound, less forward and bright, but more neutral and even across the full sound spectrum. Very few of these speakers made it across to North America and were priced at $1200 retail. Recently, an online clearance shop sold a few pairs, but from what I read in online chatrooms they were either damaged or blemished and virtually all were in the less desireable black.
I bought these after several comparison listening sessions against the Paradigm Studio 20 V.3 and the Polk LSi7s. The Kappa 200s have a deeper sound stage and more neutral highs. They are also far less finicky with room placement especially compared to the Polks.
I do not recommend powering these with a receiver. I tried with a highly regarded 75wpc HK and the soundstage lacked depth. Using a separate amp at a modest 60wpc brought them to life. An ingenious add-on is the base that is attached allowing for certain wall mounting setups.
I am selling them because my wife hates Danish modern design as it clashes with her traditional living room furniture (the background in the pictures should give you an idea). They come in their original boxes with the manuals and jumper bars. They are in truly mint condition, easily a 9.5/10 on the Audiogon.com scale.

For selling them I get to spend some extra $$$ on their replacements. Give a little, get a little more.
