Dodd ELP question

Anyone know if there's a problem with running the Dodd ungrounded by using a 2 prong=>3 prong adapter? I'm lending my 2 ch rig to a friend while I'm between houses and she's in this 1940's cottage with no grounded outlets.

Send Gary an e-mail asking, safest bet.

Yeah, for praticality I was going to swap the two prong with a GFCI, but it'd still be ungrounded- just not a code violation
I'll see what gary says.Gallo Ref 3.1 : Bryston 4b SST : Musical fidelity CD Pre : VPI HW-19

I run my ASL pre amp ungrounded. It has a detachable power cord. The cord I'm using connects to the 3-prong input of the pre but only has two prongs for the wall. Funny thing is, this is the cord ASL sent me with the pre.
