I have done a lot of research on this amp in the past and thought I would ask the experts here what they thought.
I think I am less than a week away from pulling the trigger on this but would like to know if there are any recomendations for other multi channel amps to consider.
I will be using my Onkyo as a pre/pro and all else stays the same as my sig except I will probably remove the M282 from center duty.
I have not had a chance to demo this unit but I plan to do so as soon as I find a place to go.
I am not against seperate amps but I do not have much room in my rack.

My budget is +/- $2000.00 leaning on the - side.

Thanks

It's the same as the Outlaw amp. Save some coin...get the Outlaw.

Frank is right. For HT, I'd save the coin and go with the Outlaw. it's a little less power.

If you have to have 200 WPC, spend another $500 and get this

    That sunfire looks pretty nice.
    I will look into it.

I like the sherbourn because it is designed with seven monoblocks.
I want the 200 wats so I have room to grow.

    or this: www.gemstoneaudio.com

a massive 7 channels, plenty of juice. A tad over your budget, but I know it's worthed.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

might be due to my lack of Outlaw experience but why do you say it's the same? I'm very impressed with Sherbourn.

Outlaw's top 7 channel is only 125 watt right now. The 770 has been buried and the 790 hasn't been released yet, but will be a very nice 300X7 when it arrives.
ATI is Outlaw's amp supplier and they make some nice 7 channel units, but they are more $$$ too.

Dont' forget the monoblock design of Emotiva from AV123.com since you are looking. They are so separated that you can change our channels yourself, which can't be said of all designs.

I personally don't like all my ampeggs in one basket, since shipping back a 100+ pound amp when 1 channel goes out sucks all the fun out of ownership. but to each his own.
