High quality amps?

Is Polk going to come with a new series of amps in the near feature?

The current line of amps is good in its price range but it isn`t good enough compeard to the better amps such as Genesis DualMonoExtreme, Audison VRx and probably many more on your side of the "lake"!

It would be nice if Polk had a series of amps the matches the topdivisions of amps to fit with their new SR series of speakers.

But mayby it will come some answers on this subject on the CES-show.
A simple system = Pure music!

The Polk amps are just as good as the "exotic" brands out there.

Theyre built extremely well, have plenty of features and far exceed thier power ratings cleanly. Thats all you can ask of an amp.

I think theyre among the best out there. Ive always liked Xtant for the cool factor but Id have absolutely no problem running Polk amps forever either. Their crossover network on the 400.4 is top notch. Id buy the amp for that feature alone!

Flexibility is a very nice thing to have. The 400.4 is no slouch in this department.

I agree polk amps are great amps. It really don't make any sense to run a different amp on polkmomo speakers. After all the polk amps were built for there speakers therefore there going to sound best with there amps.

Not really. A watt is a watt and as long as the amp you choose is putting out the required wattage for that speaker it will be just fine. My SR's wouldnt sound any different with the 400.4 on them as they do with my Crossfire on em other than the 400.4 is a bit more powerful and has variable crossovers.

The benefit to running the Polk amps is you know its going to make plenty of clean power, is built extremely well with high quality components and has great features.
