Both of those subs have gone the way of the dinosaur. The new subs are built better and sound better.

Here are the new lines of Momo and DB subs and here is the best online site to buy them. Circuit City also carries the DB line and Tweeter will have the Momo line if youre not into buying off of websites.

If they are so much better why are they so much cheaper and their reviews are not as good. I know price isnt everything and they are just trying to compete with the other brand names but that is a pretty big price difference from the too.

The price difference came because the old Momos could handle nearly twice the power. Building a sub that can handle 500 watts takes more money than one thatll handle 300 watts.

So the old subs could handle more power and be louder but the new subs are geared toward SQ and as such they sound better which is fine with me.

Which means they probably make more than that. Those birthsheets lie. RF are made for competitions and Id be willing to bet that little 500 watt amp was easily making 600! ;)

Those old RF Power amps were ridiculously underrated.
