SIRRUS paid Howard Stern $500 million for 5 years. He may suck but he is the highest paid entertainer in radio, sports, TV, and the movies.
Wish I sucked that bad! -

The man's whole show is nothing but trash and ****. Don't care if he makes that kind of money. Too bad that's all its about (money) because it's an absolute waste of it. -
Another option is to get the Dish Network 811 HD receiver or one of the cheaper Dish receivers and subscribe to the Dish 120 package. You will get all of the Sirius music stations, but no sports or talk channels. There is no background noise or really bad sounding stations on my 811. The sound quality is between CD and FM quality.Sony KF-50WE610 LCD Projection TV
Dish 411 HD satellite receiver
Arcam AVR 300 Receiver
NAD 502 CD Player
Toshiba DVD SD-3800
front: Polk 3.1TL w/ RD0198-1 tweeter
center: Polk CS350-LS
surrounds: Polk Monitor 7C
channels 6 + 7 set to biamp front -
I'm with Steve. I'm just about ready to give up on the XM radio. I'd rather burn CD's with my own mix and actually enjoy listening then have to rifle through crappy sounding stations to find something I like.
Maybe it's our Musical Fidelity stuff? -

When reviewing the MF pre I found that it actually made XM sound MUCH better than it did through my Audible Illusions pre. The AI did better on the LP stuff though. Both were about equal with CD's.
madmaxVinyl, the final frontier...
Avantgarde horns, 300b tubes, thats the kinda crap I want... -
I noticed it made XM sound alot better then my car stereo. But it was just a car stereo

I've noticed that when I wear a thong, my XM loses reception.
Techies - I'm wondering if my **** has induced a gag-reflex in regards to reception.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint. -
Well thats simple. Take the thong off. Go commando or something.

Maybe not the reception, but I just lost dinner....
