I suggest a homeless dwarf. He/she would also be cool to chat with and expound upon the world.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Yeah....but during really long movies....wouldn't his/her arms get real tired....causing him/her to drop the speaker....thereby ruining the HT movie experience? Maybe not...just a concern.

I'm going to find TWO homeless dwaves. They can rotate shifts during the movie.

Also in response to the first reply.... Well its not my fault we have 10' ceiling and my screen is more than 4 feet off the ground. well i guess it is my fault since in installed the thing. lol. Does anybody know of any smaller stands that would be just as good or better?

Wow...that's like having to sit on the front row in the theater....my neck hurts just thinking about it.

Well i lay in my bed from 14 feet back and its perfect :) The bed is pretty high too so that makes up for any difference in height.

That stand has a tilt to it so make edit: (I found that the 28 " model isn't tilted)sure that at 28 " it doesn't overshoot your seating height. I use the CT-12 and find that it directs sound right to my seating level, 12 feet away.

Wood Technology makes a nice product.
