Hi,

I own a Yamaha RX-V1000 which will allow me to add a rear center speaker for (6.1). However it must be powered center speaker. I currently own all Polk speakers and would like find one to match the following: RT800i(Mains), CSi40(Ctr) FX500i(rears). Does anyone know if Polk makes a powered center speaker? If not what do you recommend?

Thanks

Get another 40, or 30, or any RT(i) single shelf speaker, and a mono amp. Audiosource has small, inexpensive monoblocks and bridgeable stereo amps. Marantz also has a couple affordable monoblocks, that I've heard good things about.

    Cheers,
    Russ

    RuSsMaN,

    A unit like this?

AudioSource AMP-5.1A 100 Watt Power Amplifier
The Amp 5.1 is a fully featured, high current mono power amplifier. With high quality components housed within heavy-gauge steel, these amplifiers sound as impressive as they look.

If so that's great - Many Thanks
