Anyone have any advise on a receiver that will push my LSI-9's. I have a brand new Yamaha HTR 5990, still in the box as well, but apparently it will not do the job for my speakers. I have a budget of about $1200-1500 for a receiver (if I can get rid of the HTR 5990). Will sell the HTR 5990 for $700 plus shipping.
People who think they know everything, really annoy those of us who do.

I used to have the yamaha htr 5990 it is a good receiver to start. I recently upgraded to the rotel RSX-1056 75 x 5, 7.1 surround receiver The cost was $1050.00 this receiver rocks. It does not have all the bells and whistles as most receivers do but the power is evenly distributed to all the speakers and there is enough power to drive your lsi-9s.

Contact your local high end stereo store to listen to this receiver. It is a definite must hear.

He has less than 25 posts, therefore can not post in the FM. That rule was put in place for a reason and attempts like this to skirt the rule should not be tolerated.
