How well would csi-5 match monitor 70s?

I have a CS2 but how much better would a csi-5 be? would they be timbre matched with the monitor 70s?

    I guess it depends on what kind of system you're going for. If you don't mind inconsistancies in the series, I'd say go for it, the CSi5 is an awesome speaker, but if a near-perfect timbre matchup is important, I'd say stick with the CS2, it is a good speaker, but as I have indicated the CSi5 is certainly a step-up. Your call, try listening to both centers if possible.

    i have the monitor 70 with the csi5. i havent acctulay heard them with the c2. i enjoy my set up. havent really heard any tone differences. if u buy it, u can always return it too.... good luck on your ventures and tell me what u think is better
