Are you as frustrated as I am with the selection of audio magazines/e-zines out there that cover equipment that very few of us can actually afford? I have decided to try and create a free e-zine dedicated to new/used audio equipment as it sounds with affordable gear instead of $20,000 mono-blocks. This will be a completely volunteer venture, as I plan on keeping it free of specific brand advertising. Though I might, if necessity forces, accept ads from used dealers, private sellers, just to pay for the website.

A recent post by steveaz is an excellent example:
http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34958

If interested, pm or emai me, and I will send a rough design of what the site will look like.

I hope so Steve. Why should all the lucky characters for Audiophile and The Absolute Sound have all the fun!

Hope you are willing to join in.

To everyone who has pm'ed or emailed: I have received so many questions that I am in the process of writing an outline of my idea. I will then email it out along with a rough design of the e-zine.
    Thanks for the interest,
    Mark

Alright! Here's our chance to become audio snobs like the losers in magazines giving rave reviews on everything;). j/k

This sounds like an excellent idea. I'm very busy at the moment but once I have some free time, I'd love to participate.

    http://www.audioreview.com/reviewscrx.aspx

I have found this site very helpful. It is a summary of audio and video reviews by real people.

I just wish they had more reviews.

Received your email. Feel free to copy/paste any reviews I've done here and any future reviews; beyond that, my life is just too busy right now to take on anything additional. I think it's a very cool idea...go for it.
