Actual pictures to follow this evening.
Raw, honest, warm sounding power amp. This amp was part of series that the Urei group designed for JBL. Will drive ANYTHING on the planet. I've used it on everything from Monitor 7's to DQ10's. 190w/ch 8 ohm, 300w/ch at 4, and stable down to 2ohm. Can be run bridged mono for 600w/8ohm. Independent level controls for each channel. Heavy duty binding posts, thermostat controlled fan on rear, HUGE torroidal power supply. Grey, rack handles outstanding cosmetic condition.
Another one I wish I could keep, I remember it on the 7a's with the Melos linestage - and it was simply amazing.
$old.
Thanks for looking.
Cheers,
Russ

Hey Russ.
How would you compare this amp to an Adcom 555? Power at 4 ohms is almost the same...but what about sound? which you think would be more musical?
Just asking...:)_________________________________________________

The Urei, hands down. It's a sleeper, people shy away because of the 'pro' stigma - but I wouldn't have kept it for so long, if it didn't sound outstanding.
Lets put it this way, I've sold several 555's while I've had this amp.Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service. -
Then it's sold. PM sent._________________________________________________

Installed this baby last night, and I was immediately surprised on how different it sounds vs. the Adcom 555. What struck me right from the moment I turned it on was how crispier it is, and specially the lows; I had to move the 1.2TL's a couple of inches forward !!!
I'll continue listening....I've been thinking on trying to bi-amp....I know they are different amps, but just for the heck of it....what would you guys do...Adcom for highs and Urei for lows???
Having fun here_________________________________________________
