I have two DTV sat. dishes 3 lnb. I have four TV sets in the house. Two of them have a tivo box, two have a standard DTV box. All lines run from the dishes to the various boxes, each tivo box has two lines running to it from the sat.

I have one line that is suddenly not working that goes to one of the tivo's, everything else works. So the problem tivo box is only getting a feed from one line. I have run the set-up and restart, I have checked all the obvious connections at the dish, along the way and into the box, everything looks ok. I have not swapped out the various wires yet, so could have a bad wire, however, kind of doubt it since they are new.

Anybody know where I should look or have any suggestions? What type of line tester do I need to test for where the signal stops. Surely these is some sort of signal the installer uses to test for continuity.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Also I am good at grand ideas, but sometimes lose sight of a detail, so if you know a list to do this then that would be helpful.

Thanks.

rt1 Hi sometimes there are what is called a hard reboot in the directions. have you tried that yet. if not try that usually you hold a couple buttons down at the same time and it resets the processor. also try to swap the cable between the the two imputs coming into the receiver. it should tell you if you have a bad lnb. you can buy a satelite signal meter from radio shack to tell you if you have signal as well. i will look for it and post a link later. Good luck.i hope this helps and didnt tell you something you already tried.
