DIY Headphone Amp!!!!

I Just compleated my first DIY Headphone amp!
All of it is enclolsed in an Altoids tin. It is powered by a 9v battery and uses a burr-brown op-amp. So far I have only used it with my ipod. WOW what a difference. I have always loved my Ipod but felt it lacked real UMPH! Not the case anymore.
I ordered enough supplies to build two more and am really looking forward to trying different op-amps and tweaking the circuit.
Pics to come!

A classic CMOY amp... nice job!
I have (err... had - since the guy just paid for it, but I still havent shipped it) a nice headphone setup with a dedicated headphone amp - the Headamp (headamp.com) GS-1 amp....
Paired with my 650s, they are reeeal good... but I still think that they are both a bit too expensive considering what one can get from the speaker realm of audio. The headphone amp was $750 when I bought it... that can pretty much buy you a used Rotel RB1080!Magico M2, JL113v2x2, EMM, ARC Ref 10 Line, ARC Ref 10 Phono, VPIx2, Lyra Etna, Airtight Opus1, Boulder, AQ Wel&Wild, SRA Scuttle Rack, BlueSound+LPS, Thorens 124DD+124SPU, Sennheiser, Metaxas R2R -
Yep....it's a CMOY. I have to admit that it is way better than I expected. I seriously doubted that a mere $30 in parts could render such results.HT

Nice cmoy.
Yeah, that tangent link is a good one. I almost undertook the project myself. If nothing else its a cheap way to learn to solder.
The cmoy is nice because you can travel with it and you don't have to plug it in. Nice work. -
