Surround Speaker Advice

I thought this would be the right place to get a bit of good advice. It all started innocent enough, a new HD TV, now it has grown beyond my ability to control it! I decided it was time to upgrade my system, and the end is near. I have a Denon AVR-3806 with RTi8s as my fronts, with a CSi5 as the center. For a sub I went with a PSW-12, I know some will say Polk subs are not what they are known for, but the price was right. So far so good, I moved my older Phase Techs for use as the Surround, and using my old Polk R 15s as the Surround Back speakers.

I love the RTis, and have been looking for some more Polks to replace the temporary Phase Techs I am using as surrounds. I have seen some good deals on Monitor 30s on ebay, how do you think they would blend in with the rest of the speakers. My thinking was that if they worked well enough for surounds now, I might move those to the back later, and get some RTi4s or RTi6s for the surrounds as the budget allows.

By the way, this is a 7.1 system, and the room is fairly small, about 20' x 14'. I have also been using the Denon auto EQ set up with good results. Any thoughts?

Sounds like a good plan, plus a 7.1 system usualy sounds great in a smaller room.

Thanks for the feedback, I would welcome any others as well. One more quick question, IF you were going to stick witha Polk SW for now, which would you go with in the above system, the PSW12 I now have, or trade it in for a PSW404? The 12 has less power with the amp and a 12" woofer, but the 404 has the smaller woofer with twice the 'rated' power. Any thoughts on this?

BTW: Both have a LFE input.
