FS: McIntosh 2505 Amplifier

Out of my personal collection, this is one I really had planned to keep forever. A simply stunning example, both electronically and cosmetically, from the early solid state days of McIntosh.
Classic amplifier, typical 'overbuid' Mac, circa 1968~. Big blue power meters, as clean as they come, optional Pan-loc, REAL American Walnut case included. 50wpc. Has Hillcrest Hifi Service sticker, and 'McIntosh Clinic' sticker on rear also. To talk about old hifi, and the days of 'cool', McIntosh would hold 'clinics' once a year at certain retailers. You could bring your Mac peices in, and have them gone over, and certified by a factory tech - at no charge.
$700 shipped, lower 48.
