cars vs subs....apples to oranges. i am like you as well. i don't pay retail on anything. first thing ever was my svs. it is a fair price once you compare its output to other more expensive subs. anyway, you can find used. also keep checking in with svs for b-stock. some are just returns with no blemishes at all from the trial period when people have changed their minds. i wouldn't buy a blemished piano gloss black. the only benefit over textured black is the peq. it's up to you.

B, at first you advised against the Paino Black with the defective paint?

At some point you will need to make up your own mind. We can't tell you what is best for you or what you can afford or not. Just get what you think you can afford. Simple, huh

I will either go with the Paino Black B stock for $1079 or get the textured black one for $1199.

i would too. unless they have a textured for cheaper. but blemished piano vs. brand new textured, i'd go with the piano.

Hell, why not buy both and send one to me. :) Then when you want to try the other, we can just swap? Whichever one you don't want, I'll take off your hands... I'm such a nice guy...
