Hey all!

I finally got my photography site going. My part time venture is taking off a bit, so I needed a place to promote myself and show my stuff.

There's not much on there yet, but it'll fill up as the weeks/months go by.

Nothing from the club yet in case you horndogs were wondering. I have some legal stuff to take care of first before posting.

Enjoy!

Very nice pics. What camera are you using?

Right now, I am torn between getting the Rebel XT or Nikon D50.

Meanwhile here are some with my little Canon A510:

Very nice. You should try and find a martial arts tournament to take pics of. My 2 cents.

Looks like he has some nice fast glass :)

I'm saving up for the Nikon D200. Prop tax due aint helping me save :(
Go for the D70s if you can afford to pay a little more.

Those shots were taken with the Nikon D70 and the Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 VR lens. Awesome glass indeed!

    Nikon makes some rockin cameras!

Nikon and Canon both make great cameras. See which one feels the best to you. Remember, you're buying into an entire system of lens and accessories, not just the camera alone.

    The D200...DROOL!!!! :D

I'm wondering where the pictures of you posing in the mirror came from?
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Problem for me is that they BOTH feel fine.

I was thinking of getting just the XT body (cheaper) because I have a 28-80mm from my EOS ELAN, which is fully compatible with the XT, until I remembered the crop factor of 1.6 for the XT. This would turn my 28-80 into an 45-128mm which is not wide enough for me. Overall, the D50 kit seems like an excellent bargain, especially for a DSLR..

I wouldn't sweat that too much Mike - look at it this way - either way you have to buy a wide angle lens for the crop factor - with the Nikon or in addition to what you have on the 28-80. If you keep the 28-80mm then you would have a true 28-80mm AND a 45-128mm medium telephoto as well (or sell it to buy more glass)...

You know what John Shaw says - (which applies to stereo too) - when you want a new lens sit down and WRITE out TEN reasons why you really NEED the lens...
(then he says - "its ok if the first 9 of them are because I WANT IT") :D

Most impressive John, looking forward to more.

You bet they do. I have a very old Nikon EM 35mm camera. I got it for my 16th birthday, 23 year ago (holy ****!) and she still takes beautiful pictures.
