    IMO it sounds fair. Has it been the going price for them as of late? I don't know because I haven't been keeping track.

    A general guide to use for used speakers is around 3/8ths of the original MSRP. In this case it was $3,600 if I remember right. 3/8ths would be $1,350.

    Its about right i just watched a pair of them go for $1200 on ebay they were the Black ones. What color are your friends. I know the Rosewood normally are worth more to some people. My dad has a pair of Rosewoods that i am thinking of buying from him.

    I just sold a pair of RT-3000p's for 1185.75 + 165 shipping on Ebay. I'm sure those are the ones you're referring to. I saw a pair 6 months or so ago in pretty beat up condition sell for $800 with local pick-up only on ebay.

    I would think $1200-$1300 would be a good price range for the speakers.
