hey
so I´m still need help . I have the RTI 12 front and I need rear speaker! Does the Monitor series match? The RTI 4 are to small for me! MAybe the Monitor 60 or the RTI 8?? Sounds the MONITOR very Different? Here in Germany it´s hard to get polk!!! BUT I LOVE THEM! I had for 12 years big MB Quarts they still sound very good (5000,-$) should I take these for rear and only buy a new center? ( I have now the CSI25)
Hope for help (more than 5 words)

You'll want to keep it in the RTi family, so if the 4s are too small, then get the 8s that you're comparing against the Mon 60s. Or check out the RTi6. You could also check out the previous series of RTi or RTxxi speakers, if you don't mind getting pre-owned.

thx for respond...
well I heard for rear it would be better large speakers? So the rti8... or a RTI 4 enough?
What about the R50? -
I think the RTi4 should be fine for surround duty, monitor will work if there is a lack of other options. RTi8 would be sweet, but overkill in my opinion. the R50 wouldnt be anywhere close to a timbre match, so I would say no in my humble opinionLiving Room 2 Channel -

thx..
well but are the rti4 for music also enough? no or? I have an 7.1 amflier with every channel 180 watts din... so I think the RTI 8 get enough power... but are the rti4 enough too? -
i'd go with the rti6 over the rti4, just because you have the power to feed them. hell, you've got power to feed rti10's all the way around, maybe even rti12's!

I think for some reason he can not get the RTi6, not avaiable to him, thats the gist I got from previous conversations.
Venice, its far better to have too much power to a speaker and regulate volume than to underpower it and cause an amp to clip, so dont lost too much sleep over power handling. If your worried about it, get the RTi8. It may be overkill, but I've done overkill in this Audio hobby of ours many timesLiving Room 2 Channel -
