    Im a UT fan but since I was born, raised and lived in Georgia for the first 25 years of my life they are my #2 team.

    UT sucks and Titans suck so Im stoked at least one of my teams did well!

    Thanks for (likely) locking up a BCS bowl for my Buckeyes! We SHOULD move to number 4 in the BCS rankings.

    BCS is stupid. I wish they would come up with a playoff system for college football. Id take it more seriously if they did.

    Agreed, BCS is crap. But it's still nice to see my team go to one of the top bowl games! :D

    I saw this mornings bowl predictions and they have Georgia playing West Virginia in the Sugar Bowl. That is a crappy matchup if you ask me. Georgia deserves a better opponent like Penn State, Notre Dame, or Florida State. West VA will be a doormat for the Dawgs.

    Apparently Congress also thinks the BCS is stupid. Where they get the nerve to think its their job to correct it is beyond me, but they are right, the BCS is fundamentally stupid. I would love a playoff system. If nothing else, just include the top 4 teams to determine nothing more than the best team in the country. I don't think there would be much complaining if the #5 team were left out of it all.

    Why not? They're sticking their noses in everything else, why not college level sports???? :confused: :rolleyes: :mad:

    would you like to edit that post? ;) sure wish I had stayed up to watch the rest of the game, looks like it ended up being quite a game.

    On the other hand, my Buckeyes kicked the crap out of ND. They didn't quite live up to their hype last night.

    W. VA. gave Ga. all they could handle,,what a game,,they came close,,but as the saying goes,,"close only counts in horshoes and hand grenades" :rolleyes:

    It was a nail biter and I staid up till the end. I was wrong about WVU, as were many analysts this bowl season. It has been a strange bowl season so far. Miami, Auburn, and Notre Dame all failed to live up to expectations. Georgia didn't show up until the 2nd quarter, Michigan was dissapointing as was Georgia Tech. Man, I'm glad I'm not a betting type.

    Two more games and I'm not going to make any predictions, although I'd like to see FSU get spanked.

    I would hardly say that ND didn't live up to expectations. If you would have said that ND would be rated in the top 10 at the end of the year, before the season started, you would have been laughed at. Charlie Weis has done a hell of a job turning that program around. And they "should" have beaten USC earlier this year too.
    Ohio State is just that dominant when they are playing up to their potential. And Troy Smith has really matured since the Texas game. They would have beaten anyone last night the way they played.
    Now, I hope I am wrong, but I think Penn STate is gona blow out FSU. FSU just doesn't have it this year. We will soon see though.
