Ok I got off to a bad start with my ht. I went to radioshack and bought a onkyo ht 770 htib :( . So far I have upgraded the fronts to rt800I and I am about to get a cs400I, Would you recomend upgrading receiver to something that has preamp outputs so I can get the full potential out of the speakers or just wait until the onkyo dies? I cant find a link to the amp its self but here is a link to the htib.

It's a serviceable entry level receiver, but can't do justice. Sell the whole system as a piece for ~ $300 and put it into an HK235 w/pre-outs. A nice upgrade, but you can put an amp on the fronts and center later for a big upgrade.

    Combo rig:

Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
    SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
    PB13Ultra RO
    BW Silvers
    Oppo BDP-83SE
