opinions on the kicker solo baric S8L7-4 8" inch subwoofer? anybody know how it sounds, or how it would sound powered by a polk amp (c300.2).

    I really like the L7's and L5's. Theyre primarily SPL subs but they do sound good. They handle a ton of power and work in relatively small enclosures.

    Id have no problem using one.

    Yeah, I have no life so I sit around and read all I can on audio and then go out and pester all the local shops by wandering around listening to their stuff. :D

    They sound good , but take very large ported boxes , compared to other makes.
    We finished up a Suv , a few weeks back w/ 2 L7 15", best box was 10 cft including the ports. It was loud, we tuned it for 29hz,:)

    We left ~10" from the box to doors . (full sized gmc yukon).
    So its pretty much usless,but customer wanted loud,so he's happy.
