Marantz B-stock?

Where is the best place to shop for a Marantz B-stock receiver? I want to compare my choices between HK, Pioneer, and Marantz. I got the other two...
Also, I am looking for other opinions about their experience with HK, Pioneer, or Marantz recievers in the < 600 dollar range. I like a warmer sound and now have Polk RTi and TCi speakers to round the system out in a 5.1 scenerio. Yes, I will evenually go 7.1.
Right now, they are "powered?" by a HOS Sony...
Appreciate your input and yes, I prefer refurb type stuff - that's why I think I can stay under 600.
This could get involved, but I am not opposed to separates, but it complicates the whole process quite abit.. Damn.

Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

I have an older Marantz receiver in my HT... and while I think most receivers by themselves are underpowered. esp for powering 5 seperate speakers for a home theater. I'd suggest getting a used two channel amp for your fronts.. that would make them sound better and lighten the load off your Marantz receiver.PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

Accessories4less is supposedly the ONLY authorized outlet for B-stock Marantz gear. I picked up a CD Changer from them a few years ago (back when Marantz was still using Phillips transports). They were good to deal with, quick and reasonable shipping. I personally don't like the newer Marantz gear. I think they've gotten back seat status since merging with Denon. Speaking of which, have you given Denon receivers a try yet? I think you would like the sound of their midline receivers over the others. Try a refurbed AVR-3803, you'll never regret it. Dakmart.com is the best place for B-stock Denon.

Ubid.com has some Marantz on occasion. They actually had some SR8400's for a mega auction a few months back....something like 400 new (A stock) units. Went for around $500...a total steal. I think marker here on the forum grabbed a couple of them. Otherwise, as said above, accessories4less.
Oh one other place...hifi.com (which is Cambridge Soundworks) sells Marantz and often have closeouts or open box items on their outlet page. I bought an sr4300 to try out last year for about $230 (and found that a Denon AVR-1905 smoked it, IMO). But worth a look if you want to try out Marantz.system 1:
