Lately there have been some rumblings that the quality of the forum isn't what it was or could be.....

So, let's try to look at the positives and go from there. What do you LIKE about the forum? What would you do to improve it?

I'll go first.

I like the fact that it is very rare that I don't find something interesting or amusing. These days I only read and reply to the posts that interest me for the most part but upon review.....there is almost ALWAYS something going on that is good. How many of you check the forum first thing when you fire up the computer?

The most important thing is the people. How cool is it that I have, through this forum, actually met some of the nicest people in the world? Certainly different from myself, but that is what makes it so interesting.

While my audio tastes are growing beyond being an exclusively Polk person, I owe a lot of what I know and own to the folks on this forum. This place is a veritable plethora of information (that means if you aren't careful, you may learn something). It speaks well of the folks at Polk to host this forum. It also says something about Micah who REALLY tries to make this a better place for us to hang out.

Lastly, about the negativity, as with any diverse group, that will always be there. Just head the advice of dear old Mom. If you don't have anything nice to say about someone just shut the hell up. Although, a little good natured ball-busting ranks right up on my list of kick **** things in life. All, I'm saying is that instead of focusing on the bad things, let's look at the good things and try to go from there.
