Open to anyone that's been a contributing members for at least one month(I'm the judge on what counts as being a contibuting member ;) ). Karma will close on Wednesday at 6pm est. Good Luck!!!!

    Nice Karma!

Pat, Lyle (his keyboard player), my brother, and I all kicked around in the same clubs in the Raytown/Lee's Summit, MO area during the early 70's. Even as a teenager, he was so advanced in his thinking about musical theory it was astonishing. He's the first guitarist I ever heard play through a Roland synthesizer. Lyle is the person who got me interested in playing B-3. Great guys -- then and now.

I've got the album, so I won't get in. Just rambling and reminiscing.

For those not familiar with Pat, jump in here. He has (IMO) the best tone of any jazz player out there.

Wouldn't you classify this particular album as more experimental with the way he uses the guitar? It's definitely not what I'd consider as conventional.

LOL! Well, about everything Pat does is experimental. ;) During that period, he had a 15 or 16 string "harp" guitar he was fond of. You don't hear those too often! :D

Yeah, like on the second track. It's like he's using the notes to paint a picture.
