This is a 5 disc changer with Play-x-change feature, which means you can open the drawer and swap out cd`s while it is playing..

I bought this unit new, and it is in very good shape..
one small scratch on the top/rear of unit...the flash from the camera makes it really stand out, but is barely noticable in real lighting
