Connect Momo 500 to Momo 400

Any thoughts on the best way to connect the monoblock momo sub amp to the 4 channel 400? The 500 has 2 RCA inputs (left and right), while the 400 has 4 RCA preamp outputs (LF, RF, RR, LR).

My concern is that if I use only the Front or Rear preamp outs that changing the fader on the head unit will increase or decrease the bass.

Are there 2 into 1 RCA wire kits made? Is there any risk to the 400 of flowback of current into the attenuated channel if the fader is set to extreme front or extreme back?

Thanks!

Jon

Nope, at least I have no advice you would actually want to follow. I bet the Car Audio guys have an answer though. Try that Forum, its just a little down the page.

if there is a summed preout available on the 400.4, daisey chain that with say a 3 foot RCA over to the 500.1.

if there is not a summed preout available, then get a "2 to 1" - 2 female to 1 male, rca y splitter... split your rear speaker input and run it over to the sub amp.

there are other ways of splitting --- i prefer to in such a case to split the front rca output to the front and rear speakers... then use the rear output for the sub amp - adjusting fade with the gains on the amp - but its a matter of preference, not workability.
