Overkill?

Do you think that using a RTi38 as a surround is too much? Basically, would that be too much speaker for that role as opposed to a something smaller?

    Nope...

    I would use the RTi12 as surrounds though...

    I use RT55i`s for the front and Rt38i`s for the rear, CS40i for the center..

    works great..!

    overkill........what's that? and as for what sid mentioned, be sure to get monoblocks for your surround rti12's.

    I use the rt55i's for surrounds. It got knocked down when the lsi9's came in. :)
