I bought the CSI5 as my center, a pair of RTI8s for my front speakers, and a pair of RTI4s as my rear surround speakers.

Now my wife wants to decorate and I'm losing the location for my RTI4s.

Can you recommend which In Ceilings would best match my RTI8/CSI5 setup?

The RC series is tmbre matched to the Monitor line and the TC series is timbre matched to the RTi line. But, for rears the RC60's should work quite well for a lower cost.

I'm in the same boat your in....

I have the same fronts and center as you, and I'm using the RM7300's as my surrounds in a 7.1 setup. They seem to match the RTi line pretty good on specs. I can't tell you how they sound as I don't have them hooked up yet.

i'd have to agree with aaharvel on this one, but put a twist on it and compromise. tell her she can don your rears with some nice lace doilies or even wallpaper 'em with some type of floral pattern.

The Polk site says the TCi series is timbre matched to the RTi line, RCi series is timbre matched to the Monitor line. Since my couch is against the back wall I used TC60i with my RTi10s with good results.

TCi is matched to the RTi line. Specifically the TC60i would be best for your application. It uses the same tweeter and a very similar driver.

Does anybody have a link to the Crutchfield desciption?
